Hair jewelry? HAIR JEWELRY? T_T Augh! Why do drow like to decroate their hair like that? -_-* I hate spiders, I wouldn't be able to suck it up and look at pictures of spiders for enough research to turn ALL of Vercheil's past into a comic. I don't like twisted up, intricate designs. *sigh* Anyway, this journal is to update on the progress of "Dalhar d' sel menvissen."

Characters:
The designs are going well, except for Vercheil.

Merlyn will wear outfits that look more like they belong in our current time then in a fantasy setting.

Achiko will wear outfits similar in style to the outfit she's currently wearing in my gallery.

The other two characters haven't been renamed yet, but most definetly they're going to be of mixed blood. The male, probably a halfling rogue knight. The female, will be figured out when Vercheil and the second Male are finished.

Vercheil... is majorly frustrating. I'm very glad at this point that I didn't set out to draw up a comic version of her past from a little before her birth 'till up to the point that the current comic ends because GAAAH. Drow culture is very, VERY awesome, but ultimately I hate tryign to come up with drow-like clothing. I can't seem to find enough information and other then this awesome artist's webstie( [link] ) I don't have much to go on. Speaking of which, I'm confused as to why Llothscourge doesn't have a lot of drow art submitted... Ah, but, none the less, I'm working on images of vercheil before and after her escape.
I'll include these in my gallery, along with a little background information on her escape. I want to include a few pages of it into the beginning of the comic, but I might not be able to. ^_^;; Ultimately, look forward to it. Her dress (or other outfit) will be pretty, I hope, and hopefully her hair decorations will look nice too! =3 I intend to color this, just because I don't have too many colored pictures of Vercheil, that, and Achiko's already colored. Yeah. X3 Other then having to incorporate spider-type designs into her clothing, it looks like it's going to work out well for Vercheil.

Dalhar d' sel menvissen:
The first page will be up on the weekend of the 28th, due to dificulties with some of the characters.

Other drow:
Oooooh, my. Once I get into the groove () of things, I might redesign some of my other drow characters.
Like, Alanna, Alan'Quiri, Ginafae(yes, I did steal the name from RA's book), Zilv'Felyn, Michael... whoever I'm forgetting. XD;; There are a lot... But, yeah. I'm currently trying to start writing a book revolving around Ginafae and the DeVir's in House DeVir (mainly for Vercheil who comes in at least two hundred years after this story begins), but I haven't collected enough information about Matron Mothers and the..inaguration-type thing?
I want to start from around the time Ginafae becomes a Matron, so I'm trying to form a plan for it. I'm thinking she's going to murder her house's Matron and rename her house House DeVir.
But, for that, the Matron would have to fall otu of Lloth's favor, and it just gets a little confusing. I'll update again when I know more about Matron Mothers and drow culture. Also, when I know more about the starting date for the story. I'm still not sure if I should submit it here. My art I can claim and recreate without a problem, but I can't really write well under pressure. So, I'm worried about someone stealing it if I don't use my real name. o_o; Which, I don't want to do... because this is the internet. Ach. Whatever.
